The company provides heat treatment furnaces for automotive and mechanical parts, as well as heat treatment furnaces designed for batteries, circuit boards, catalysts, and magnetic materials. Additionally, it offers a wide range of combustion technologies, including oxygen, hydrogen, and gas burners. The company also supplies air purification devices, painting lines, and precision coating drying equipment, delivering optimal solutions tailored to the diverse needs of its customers.

Since our founding in 1945, Chugai Ro Co., Ltd. has been pioneering in the field of thermotechnology as a technology-driven company that creates original technologies. Our development and design capabilities are our greatest strengths. However, the social and economic environment surrounding our group is rapidly changing due to various issues such as climate change and labor conditions, and significant evolution is currently demanded.
We see these challenges as a unique opportunity to realize creation of new value, which is in our management philosophy. We will proactively engage in creating new markets centered on carbon neutrality, further enhancing our existing products, and creating a rewarding workplace environment.

- Received domestic orders for major renovation projects of heating furnaces for the steel industry and new construction of heating furnaces for special steel. |
- Received numerous orders for functional materials and carbon heat treatment furnaces for semiconductors. |
- Received an order for a continuous bright annealing line for stainless steel plates for China. |
- Received an order for a precision coating system for flexible organic EL substrates for China. |
- Received successive orders for new installations and renovation projects for high-function film coater systems/lines both domestically and internationally. |
- Received an order for a regenerative exhaust gas treatment device for the steel industry. |
2020 |
- Received an order for a PI (Polyimide) coating FLOLIA® coater system for China. |
- Yuji Nishimoto was appointed as Chairman of the Board, and Akira Ozaki was appointed as President and CEO. |
- Developed a combustion technology that uses only ammonia, eliminating the need for fossil fuels (in joint research with Osaka University). |
- Began sales of the new wafer coating device, "RS Coater™." |
- Received multiple orders for large oxygen burners for relaunching domestic blast furnaces. |
- Received an order for the world''s largest continuous bright annealing furnace for stainless steel plates for China. |
- Enhanced mass production capabilities for electrolyte manufacturing devices for all-solid-state batteries. |
- Received an order for a mass production device for electrode catalyst materials for fuel cells. |
- Received an order for a mass production-type PI (Polyimide) precision coating system for flexible organic EL substrates for China. |
2021 |
- Received an order for the first precision coating system for IC packaging from a customer in China. |
- Began sales of the IoT package for heat treatment equipment, "CRism® (CR-ism)." |
- Following the previous year, received an order from a Chinese customer for the world''s largest continuous bright annealing furnace for stainless steel plates. |
- Launched a "Decarbonization Project" to accelerate the development of decarbonization technologies, including ammonia and hydrogen burners. |
- Entrusted with the "Ammonia Co-firing Power Generation Technology Research, Development, and Demonstration Project" by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). |
- Received an order for the first RS Coater™ in Japan. |
- Received an order from Subaru Corporation for a small-lot vacuum carburizing furnace. |
- Received an order for a small-scale experimental hydrogen burner furnace in Japan. |
- Received an order for an energy-saving heating furnace for wind power generation-related materials in Japan. |
2022 |
- Received multiple orders for combustion equipment for steelmaking in Japan aimed at reducing carbon emissions (energy-saving). |
- Received the first order for zinc recycling equipment for electric arc furnace dust as part of a resource recycling process. |
- Transitioned from the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange to the "Prime Market" following the market reorganization (April 4, 2022). |
- Received an order for the first radiant tube hydrogen burner, contributing to decarbonization. |
- Received successive orders for equipment manufacturing high-grade steel plates for international projects. |
- Received an order for Japan’s first hydrogen combustion exhaust gas treatment device, contributing to decarbonization. |
2023 |
- Received an order for a hydrogen combustion test furnace intended to promote carbon neutrality at a domestic customer''s factory. |
- "Productization of an Exhaust Heat Boiler with a 30% Hydrogen Co-firing Afterburner" won the Excellent Award in the Technology Development category of the Cogeneration Awards 2022. |
- Received an order from DENSO Corporation for a hydrogen combustion afterburner furnace for DENSO Fukushima. |
- Jointly developed a gun-type hydrogen burner with Olympia Industrial Co., Ltd. |
