■ Meltblown Nonwoven Fabric Manufacturing Process
The meltblown method is a highly efficient process for producing nonwoven fabrics in a single step. Below is an overview of Tapyrus Corporation’s manufacturing process:

1. Preparation and Melting of Raw Resin
Heat and melt raw resin, then extrude it through nozzles using an extruder.
2. Formation of Ultrafine Fibers
Melted resin is blown with high-temperature, high-pressure air to create ultrafine fibers.
3. Fiber Accumulation
The fibers are self-bonded on a conveyor to form a nonwoven fabric web.
4. Inspection
Strictly check for foreign materials and ensure quality.
5. Winding and Measurement
Nonwoven fabrics are wound to specified widths and lengths, with measurements of thickness and basis weight conducted.
6. Processing and Finishing
Apply calendaring or slitting to adjust the product to customer specifications.
7. Storage and Shipping
After storage in warehouses, the products are packed, transported, and delivered to customers.

■ History of the Meltblown Method
Meltblown technology originated in the 1940s, initially developed for microfibers. Today, it is established as a key method for producing ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabrics. In Japan, Exxon Group introduced the technology in 1974, which Tapyrus has inherited and continually innovated upon.
