Seven Chinese EV manufacturers, including BYD, which plan to start production in Thailand from 2025, participated as buyers. The number of visitors increased by 2,000 from the previous year to 44,773, and 916 business negotiations (estimated sales of 415,593,286 THB) were conducted over four days. There was particularly active movement in finding suppliers for Chinese EV manufacturers, with many Japanese exhibitors reporting that they secured many deals progressing to concrete negotiations. Additionally, this business matching was held in collaboration with the Thai Subcontracting Promotion Association to promote business matching between Thai local companies and Japanese companies. More than 100 high-quality local companies exhibited in the subcontractor area, and there was active business matching between Japanese companies and local companies. 

　Furthermore, Thai Prime Minister Srettha attended the opening ceremony, where he spoke about the "technical capabilities of Japanese companies" and the "growing investment of Chinese companies," which increased the attention on this business matching as a platform for matching Chinese EV manufacturers with Japanese companies. 

　Next year, the business matching is also planned to be held in Bangkok. As the production of EVs in Thailand accelerates, we aim to strengthen business matching between Chinese EV manufacturers and Japanese companies, as well as matching high-tech Japanese companies with Thai local companies aiming to enter industries beyond automotive, thereby contributing to the development of Thailand's manufacturing industry and economy.
