By utilizing two-color co-extrusion technology, we can handle complex shapes and irregular cross-sections. At Akebono Kasei Vietnam, we specialize in dual-material extrusion molding, even for intricate and uniquely shaped profiles.
In this example, two materials—PP (rigid) and elastomer (flexible)—are molded simultaneously, achieving both strength and flexibility in the product.
Our ability to produce such complex extruded shapes stems from in-house mold manufacturing capabilities. For highly challenging designs, we collaborate with our Japan headquarters, ensuring reliable production of complex and irregular cross-sections.

Specifications
- Molding method: Two-color co-extrusion
- Materials: Simultaneous molding of PP and elastomer (combining structural strength and flexibility within the product)

Note: Extrusion molds require specialized design expertise. Thanks to our in-house mold production, we can meet tight deadlines even for challenging shapes and irregular cross-sections.
