【Features】
One of the key features of connectors for electronic components, communication devices (PCs, smartphones), and circuit boards is their small size. Naturally, smaller connectors require thinner walls and smaller hole diameters, which demands high precision in mold production.

The connector shown in the photo has a wall thickness of 0.1mm and a hole diameter of 0.2mm. Achieving these dimensions requires grinding technology capable of carving grooves 0.1mm wide with a 0.2mm pitch. Our company has developed unique techniques in grinding processes, enabling microfabrication for molds used in small connectors.

Furthermore, ultra-small molded products require excellent mold release properties. In many cases, resins containing glass fibers are used as materials for connectors intended for electronic components and communication devices, which demands high wear resistance in the molds. For such cases, we can provide molds with enhanced mold release and wear resistance properties through coatings such as titanium coating or diamond coating.
