THE BRIGHT Rama 2 Project: Sustainable architectural beauty using tent membrane structure Samut Prakan, Thailand

Technology / product information

THE BRIGHT The tent membrane structure realized in Rama 2. We combine innovation and sustainability to create bright and open spaces for the future.

Construction example: THE BRIGHT Rama 2 (2016)
THE BRIGHT Rama 2 by Tomas Engineering is a typical example of a tent membrane structure completed in 2016. In this project, membrane structure technology was applied to a large space to create a lightweight and safe building. The result is a bright and comfortable space that lets in natural light and provides shade during the day.

Features
Lightweight and safe structure: Membrane structure technology allows us to create large-scale buildings that are lightweight and resistant to earthquakes and other disasters.
Providing a bright and comfortable space: Maximize natural light and reduce the use of indoor lighting while creating a cozy space.
Wide applicability: Flexible design that can be used for multiple purposes, such as transportation nodes and park rest areas.

Application example
THE BRIGHT Rama 2 success story shows how tent membrane structures can enrich the future of sustainable architectural design. This technology is intended to simultaneously realize environmental considerations and improve people's quality of life, and is expected to continue to be adopted in a variety of settings such as stations, airports, and ports.

Through this project, Tomas Engineering showed the world the new architectural possibilities of tent membrane structures. We will continue to contribute to the evolution of technology, aiming to create sustainable, beautiful, and innovative spaces.
