The Plano Convex Cylindrical Lens has a positive focal length and is designed to convert light from a point into a line. This lens is particularly suited for beam shaping, such as transforming laser beams from elliptical to circular shapes, and for use in laser line generators.

Combining Plano Convex Cylindrical Lenses with Plano Concave Cylindrical Lenses allows for greater design flexibility in optical systems. While the standard product is uncoated, anti-reflection coating and other customizations are available upon request.
