Two-Color Extrusion Molding: PP (Rigid) + Elastomer (Flexible)

This example demonstrates our dual-material extrusion capability combining rigid PP (polypropylene) with soft elastomers - perfect for products requiring integrated rigidity and flexibility like clip file spines and covers.
Clip files require both grip strength and durability, as well as hinge functionality for opening and closing. In such cases, material combinations like PP and elastomer are essential.
At Akebono Kasei Vietnam, we provide integrated support for two-color extrusion molding of rigid and flexible materials, from small-lot prototyping to full-scale mass production.
